The project includes the construction of three (3) new commuter parking lots at the Glen-Metra Train Station. Two (2) parking lots will be constructed north and south of the train station off of Lehigh Avenue. One (1) parking lot will be constructed off of Compass Road (west of Lehigh Avenue). Plote Construction Inc. is the general contractor for this project.

This week the contractor is working on the installation of light poles and ornamental fence in the Compass Road lot. Next week, the landscaping contractor (Countryside) is scheduled to place sodding.
