The project includes the construction of three (3) new commuter parking lots at the Glen-Metra Train Station. Two (2) parking lots will be constructed north and south of the train station off of Lehigh Avenue. One (1) parking lot will be constructed off of Compass Road (west of Lehigh Avenue). Plote Construction Inc. is the general contractor for this project.

Plote Construction has completed the placement of the hot-mix asphalt in the parking lot off of Compass Road. The landscaping contractor is scheduled to begin landscaping next week in the Compass Road parking lot. Additionally, the electrical contractor is scheduled to begin installation of light poles in the Compass Road lot.
